Pop-up Dance Classes
With the assistance of Creative Communities Lower Hutt, the Wellington Performing Arts Centre is pleased to offer an eight-week course of dance, art, and creativity lessons to primary school-aged students.
What’s it all about? A fun fortnightly class, presented by a highly qualified and experienced instructor. Classes cover the fundamentals of dance, music, and visual art to provide an enriching creative experience. Two sessions will run: one for ages 5-8 and one for ages 9-11.
Where? Dowse Art Museum, 45 Laings Road, Hutt Central, Lower Hutt 5010.
When? Fortnightly on Saturdays at 3:45-4:15 pm (ages 5-8 years) and 4:15-4:45 pm (9-11 years), from 2nd August to 25th October.
On 8th November, all regularly attending students will have the opportunity to perform at Anita’s Dance Academy in Upper Hutt, complete with professional stage equipment and lighting.
No booking required! Just show up and pay $15.00 at the door (Eftpos available)

Anita’s Dance Academy and Wellington Performing Arts Centre are teaming up to bring you an exciting School Holiday Dance Programme this January – perfect for kids aged 5 to 15!
Whether your child is a confident dancer or trying dance for the very first time, this is a fun, welcoming environment to explore a variety of dance styles and make new friends.

Ages: 5 – 15 years
All levels welcome: Beginners to experienced dancers
